The Anchorage Daily News has Marc Lester’s Excursions in Alaska available online. These are beautiful slideshows with audio of his adventures in the Anchorage area including skiing Hatcher Pass and skating Potter Marsh. You’ll have to register with ADN but don’t let that discourage you.

We spent the weekend after Thanksgiving day in Wllow. Matt and Angie joined us to hang wallboard, thrash us in cribbage and take long walks with he dogs. It was a fun time. Weather was cool and the snow had pretty much melted leaving plenty of ice behind.
